It is always a horror to find the right length of patch cable. Often the cables are too long or too short, which results in unnecessary extra work when laying them. With the new coloured patch cables this is over: Simply select the desired colour and length and then lay the cable. It couldn't be simpler.
Of course, the patch cords have RJ45 plugs, which were encapsulated during manufacture. The cable complies with the Cat.6 standard and can transport data with up to 1000 Mbit through the network. So even large files are no problem. The network cables are unshielded, which also makes the RJ45 plugs relatively flat.
