Product details

Its exceptional imaging performance opens up new worlds of detail and richness of nuances. It even surpasses previous fixed focal lengths with 1:1.4 luminous intensity.
Intimate atmosphere or big event. Placed or spontaneous shots. This fast portrait lens with 85 mm and 1:1.8 is incredibly handy. The large-diameter Nikon Z bayonet makes optimum use of the available light and contributes significantly to brilliant detail throughout the image field. The autofocus works fast and Nikon Z cameras keep the focus safely on the eye of the person being portrayed - even in a crowd. The Bokeh is wonderfully natural - even in the picture corners. The focused subject is always reproduced with the highest sharpness and lights are reproduced as natural blur circles. Skin tones appear natural and the sharpness is outstanding up to the corners of the image - even when taking photographs with an open aperture. With a close-up limit of only 0.8 m, you have full control over the image section - from close-up to infinity.

Regardless of the environment, Nikon's nanocrystal coating reduces reflections and effectively prevents ghosting and glare - for brilliant images. Every component of a scene is perfectly reproduced even in backlighting. Record videos with wonderfully shallow depth of field. Whether it's an emotional close-up or a night scene with a lot of bokehreichtum: With this 85 mm lens, you can free your motif in all its beauty. The almost noiseless autofocus makes even the quietest moments shine. With the noiseless adjustment ring you can set the sharpness with absolute precision. Focus Breathing has been almost completely eliminated.

Color FotoSingle testReleaseAugust 2022

Nikon-Fotografen machen nichts verkehrt.
