i-tec USB 3.0 / USB-C Dual 4K Dock

We do not carry the original power supply, an alternative would be this product i-tec Ultra Slim Power Adapter 90W (90 W)
Hello fMessina77 This docking station is available in 2 versions. Like you, I have ordered the wrong one in the past. The correct docking station that charges your notebook via USB-C is: 979270. Unfortunately, it is only written in small print in the product information. Greetings
It is ("only") an interface for 2 monitors, USB and speakers. It is not a transformer/charging station that can recognise the power of all available laptops and operate them with optimal power, but needs power itself in order to function. But therefore works with all laptops.

Hello - Do you have the latest displaylink driver/software installed (1.8.1 Build 63.180)? Is the displaylink software running (you can see it at the top of the bar, two rectangles that overlap - are the screens "mentioned" there)? Have you made the settings "System settings => Privacy & security => Screen recording => Display link manager ON"? Reboot already done? Power is on and plugged in (at the back of the itec?). I have a 2022 M1 with i-Tec and Display-Link... 2 monitors (DP) on 4K - sometimes it's a bit "bocky" - then only helps: disconnect dock, switch off dock, switch on... but then it works for hours with me ;) LG
Provided the HP notebooks output a screen signal via USB-C, yes. Tested satisfactorily on several models!
Hello, without drivers the part will not work at all or only insufficiently. You will find the correct downloads for all OS on the home page. https://i-tec.pro/de/technischer-support/treiber-und-benutzerhandbuecher/ LG Michael
I don't know - I have both monitors connected via HDMI.
Yes, this dock supports two 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 pixel resolution displays with 60 Hz each.
Hoi This one, right: https://i-tec.pro/de/produkt/cadual4kdock-3/ ? Power supply unit is connected and working? I assume the hub is switched on? What cable between dock and Book (TB? TB3?), what cable between dock and monitors? Display link installed? LG
no only usb 3.0
Hoi and Yes, should work (on my Itec I can also charge my Iphone via USB... ) LG
What do you mean by "power"?
Hello, Yes, this docking station is based on DisplayLink technology - so you can connect 2 external monitors to your MacBook with an M1 chip. Best Regards i-tec Team
Yes, that would be supported. It even goes 2 x 4K UHD 3840 x 2160 pixels with 60Hz or 1 x 5K display.
Hello, Yes, the docking station and DisplayLink driver are both compatible with Windows 11. Best Regards i-tec Team
Hello, I have a Lenovo G500e with which I could connect two monitors without any problems.
Hello, Yes, Ubuntu is one of the supported systems. But the DisplayLink app can just use the laptop's CPU on Ubuntu - if you want to use the docking station for any GPU-intensive work, then a docking station based on another technology would be a better fit for you. If you would contact our Technical support - support@itecproduct.com - we could recommend you a docking station. But please let us know what other requirements do you have (number of monitors, their resolution). Best Regards i-tec Team
I have a Lenovo T470 connected to the i-tec via USB. from there to an Eizo and ASUS 4K monitor, both running fine at 60Hz. But, the i-tec doesn't have enough power to supply the laptop with electricity! So it has to run on its own power supply.
Jas that fits, via the USB-C port
Hello, Can you please contact our Technical support? Our address is support@itecproduct.com Please let us know what exactly is wrong. Please note that this docking station does not support PowerDelivery (Charging over USB-C) and it will not charge your MacBook. Best Regards i-tec Team
Yep... I have the same problem. Additionally, I have the problem when I have a conference with MS Teams, after a certain time the monitors switch off (2 HDMI monitors connected). Would look for an alternative....
Hello, Yes, you should be able to use 2 external monitors without any problems. First, please make sure that both monitors are connected to different zones - video outputs are marked as Zone 1 (HDMI1/DP1) and Zone 2 (HDMI2/DP2). If both monitors are connected to different zones, can you please contact our Technical support directly? Our e-mail address is - support@itecproduct.com Best Regards i-tec Tam
