Seagate are advertising it now as compatible with both PS4 & PS5 but there are some stories around that some external PS4 drives are not functioning 100% on the PS5.. As soon as I can actually get hold of a PS5 I will update..

The disk is formatted by the PS4 for the system so that it is available for games, etc. The data is not flipped. Therefore, "FlipFlopen" is not possible without always losing all data.

It didn't work for me either at first. Then I connected the disk to the other USB input. It then worked perfectly.

I have games that need 20GB. Others need 250GB. So plus/minus 7.5 to 93.1 games have space on the external hard drive :-)
