Yealink W56H Handset
Yealink W56H Handset
Hello, you first need a Yealink W56P with the article number 20713904. Then you should check with your supplier whether they support one of the following protocols: SIP, SIP v2, RTCP-XR, VQ-RTCPXR. You cannot use the Yealink W56H handset without a base station.
Yes, 100% compatible
Unfortunately, this is difficult to estimate. Theoretically, one would have to reckon with approx. 75-90% attenuation due to the concrete barn surfaces, excluding other "interference factors". With an indoor range of approx. 50 metres, this would still be approx. 5-10 metres. For this reason, I recommend a W60B installation (installed in the centre).
No, it only has a small jack plug and not Bluetooth.
Well, certain providers describe very precisely how such a device must be configured. It doesn't really matter which device it is - the parameters are the same. So just look for a German manual and off you go. The SIP server is certainly included with Swisscom. Even foreign devices can be registered. I cannot judge other providers. An IP DECT is only Plug & Play if it comes from the same system (Swisscom BoX with DECT) or is equipped with analogue lines. I have been using the device for a long time and it is by far one of the best devices.
The W56H is an additional handset for the W56P, it cannot be used alone.
According to our information, it is only compatible with the W56P base station.
Since this is not mentioned in the specifications, one may assume that there is no restriction on this. By the way, this applies to practically all phones. Otherwise, I recommend contacting the manufacturer if you want an official answer.
