of use. The reception area is directly in front of the microphone so that the useful signal can be effectively separated from lateral and background noise. The built-in Rycote Lyre mount protects the microphone from shocks and vibrations, which are very unprofessional. The Lyre-Band is made of robust and almost wear-free thermoplastic, which guarantees a trouble-free suspension of the microphone. The VideoMic GO has no complicated controls and is powered by the camera's microphone input, so no battery is needed so you can always film from a standing position.
