The Sony WH-C720N won by far in this price category. Among other things, it owes this to its pleasant sound. The sound improves even more when you carefully boost the treble in the Sony Headphones app. The WH-C720N inherited adjustable noise-cancelling from its more expensive brothers. However, it's not as effective as the Sony 1000. The battery life, on the other hand, is in the upper league.
