The head is a sensitive part of the body. Even an impact at a speed of ten kilometres per hour can lead to brain damage. According to accident studies, cycle helmets significantly reduce the risk of serious head injuries. Our latest test from 2024 also shows this: Every cycle helmet is safer than none. Nevertheless, the differences are huge - in terms of protection, comfort and price.
