With adjustable straps and an X-Static Pure Silver comfort liner, comfort rivals protection. A three-position adjustable retention system allows you to customize your fit. It can also accommodate the wearing of goggles. The antimicrobial, moisture-wicking material of the inner lining guarantees you a dry, comfortable feeling in the helmet even in hot weather. In addition, when it gets hot, the extra large inlet and outlet openings allow more air to flow through the helmet and cool the head noticeably.InMolding Inmolding refers to a technology to optimize the weight, ventilation and stability of the helmet. The outer shell is bonded to the impact absorbing EPS material during the manufacturing process to form a single unit.MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) The MIPS crash protection system is a low-friction layer under the helmet padding that reduces the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during an impact. This layer allows the head to move 10-15 mm relative to the helmet in all directions during a fall, redirecting energies and forces that would otherwise be transmitted to the brain. MIPS helmets are designed to protect the brain from an angled impact because angled falls create rotational forces that are transmitted to the brain and can lead to brain injury. MIPS can reduce both rotational movement and the risk of brain damage.
