The L-piece external thread is used as part of the Gardena Sprinkler System to connect the T 380 Turbine Pop-up Irrigation System, the R 140 Pop-up Irrigation System and the AquaContour automatic Large-Area
Pop-up Irrigation System at the pipe end. Thanks to the patented "Quick & Easy" quick connection technology, pipe assembly or disassembly can be carried out without tools simply by turning the screw connection by 140°. The threaded connection of the L-piece is self-sealing for watertight, safe operation.
