The food is gently cooked in the fire pot in its own juice thanks to the constant round heat in the pot. This also creates the unique Dutch Oven taste.
Made of sturdy cast iron, the fire pot is the ideal companion for camping, outdoor and leisure activities. You can not only use the cast iron pot over an open fire, but also prepare delicious meals in your kitchen in the oven. The lid of the pot can optionally be used as a serving plate or pan. Just try it out. Thanks to the pre-treated surface of the Dutch Oven, the Petromax pot can be used immediately and does not need to be baked in as is necessary with other cast iron plates and pans.
