Care
The Kentia palm is ideal for people without a green thumb, as the palm requires little water. From February to September, a weekly watering is sufficient. During the rest of the year, it needs to be watered once a month. In addition, the ideal room temperature for the Kentia is between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. The palm needs a lot of light, but does not like direct sunlight as it burns its leaves. It prefers a shady or semi-shady spot. Therefore, it is best to place it near a north-facing window. If the leaves turn lighter or yellow, it could mean that it is getting too much sun. Then place the Kentia palm in a shadier spot.
