The truck extension set is an interesting possibility to transform the truck into a tanker or a turntable ladder of the fire brigade and to build up a trailer.
The set includes:
Tank truck with an opening mechanism. A 0.33 l can fits in here
Extendable 3-part fire ladder on a bogie, length extended approx. 70 cm
Truck trailer: a chassis on wheels, here the truck platform can be mounted
After assembling the extensions tank truck and turntable ladder, these are mounted on the truck, whereby the platform body of the truck must first be removed. The flatbed body can then be mounted on the chassis, so you get a trailer.
With 3 trucks you can assemble a whole car park of 3 vehicles: a truck with a platform, a truck as a tanker, a truck as a turntable ladder and a trailer.
Tank truck has a unique opening mechanism. The model has been designed to fit a 0.33 l can. By turning the top knob, the parts of the construction open to the side and the can is pushed slightly upwards.
Turntable ladder has several control modes, by operating the lever several times you lift the ladder. With the handle you turn the ladder to the right or left. A special ratchet fixes the turntable ladder in the desired position. Now the ladder can be extended completely. At the end of the ladder there is a hook to use it like a crane. Just like a big fire truck, our UGEARS model also has a small ladder on the side. Here the firefighter can quickly climb onto the truck.
Trailer has a realistic leaf suspension, on which the trailer springs during the journey. Under the drawbar the trailer has a stand so that it can be parked independently of the truck.
The model, like all other UGEARS models, is assembled without glue.
