Before you can hold a fully functional safe including combination lock in your hands, you have to assemble it. You don't need any tools or glue for assembly, the parts pre-cut with a laser are simply removed from the plate. To ensure that the gears mesh smoothly, you should have a file or a small piece of emery paper and a small amount of wax (e.g. from a tea light) to lubricate the mechanism. Due to the complex combination lock, which requires precise work, the kit was aimed at advanced hobbyists.
