Raclette grills in comparison test

In our comparison test of raclette grills, the RC 3 plus model from Steba came out on top. This raclette grill convinced with the best non-stick effect and very good raclette and grilling results. In addition, an aluminium or stone plate can be used for grilling, depending on preference. Second place went to the Inventum model, which shone with the largest pans. The only drawback is the fact that the temperature cannot be regulated. Otherwise, the appliance achieved wonderful results. The raclette grills from Küchenprofi, UNOLD, Cloer, Severin and Kela placed in the front midfield. Overall, both the raclette and the grill function were convincing here. The Küchenprofi model, like the test winner, is equipped with exchangeable grill plates made of aluminium and stone. These five appliances had a good non-stick effect on the pans and the grill plates. Only the Cloer model sometimes had a small amount of fish sticking to the stone plate. The raclettes from Steba, Spring, Tristar, Lentz and MIA Prodomus came out in the middle of the field. The Steba RC 44 and the Spring unit are only suitable for up to four and two people respectively. Nevertheless, they can otherwise compete with the "big ones" in terms of performance. The models from Lentz and MIA Prodomus stood out because of the large distance between the pans and the heating rods, which allows the pans to be filled very high. The model from DS Produkte is suitable for up to twelve people and can be used as a raclette, grill and fondue at the same time. However, various shortcomings came to light here: For example, the grill plate warped and no longer sat straight on the attachment.
