Picking
How do your new perfume and your baby’s nappies end up in the same parcel? The answer’s in the picking process. Rosa and her team make sure all the individual items of your order are gathered and prepared so they can all be popped in one box. This is a short but crucial step in our logistics process.
Packing
550 parcels per hour – packing machines are real powerhouses. Our employees prepare the products and place them on a conveyor belt that leads directly into the packing machine. A laser measures the dimensions and cuts the cardboard to size. This means the parcel arriving at your doorstep is compact, containing as little air as possible.
Truckloads of parcels
How do the parcels get into lorries? With Tetris skills and muscle power. Every day, thousands of parcels travel on conveyor belts directly into the lorries and are then driven to your home. Our team’s goal is to get as many parcels as possible into each lorry and send them on their way on time.

As a Multimedia Producer, preparing multimedia content and knowing about cutting-edge technology is my business. My main focus at digitec is producing videos. I can’t wait to try out new products such as cameras, drones or smartphones as soon as they’re launched. This is where being at the source comes in rather handy. When I’m not working, I’m probably skiing, biking or hiking – the mountains are my place to be.
