"They know me - they don't know you!"
Shortly before the European Championship kicks off, we in Germany are also taking part in the advertising championship with a prominent footballer in the TV block. And with none other than Lukas Podolski. But that doesn't make us a typical football advert.
Football advertising is a celebrity circus. And more so than ever for an international championship in your own country. This year, we are also doing the dubious honour of hosting the event in Germany. And with none other than former national player and football world champion Lukas "Poldi" Podolski.
Self-irony instead of cliché
But that's all our new adverts have in common with the usual celebrity football adverts. Because here too, as in our other TV adverts, we break painfully honestly with the usual advertising clichés. And with a good dose of self-irony, just like Lukas Podolski in this case. As in other campaigns of this type, Poldi turns his celebrity into money in the new Galaxus films. But in an ironic and honest way. You may have already seen one or two of the adverts in the last few days before kick-off.

Straightforward and direct - even in real life
What we can confirm to all Poldi fans after the shoot in Warsaw a few weeks ago: Poldi also likes short sentences in real life. And despite all his fame, he's not at all aloof, likeable, direct and absolutely straightforward. We definitely had a lot of fun filming with him despite the tight schedule.
