Sorry, again in Englisch I guess its the better Color Depth and the Freesync Feature
no - To display the 4K resolution in 60Hz, the monitor must be connected with Displayport or HDMI 2.0 (and HDMI 2.0 is only available on PCs/laptops with Nvidia Geforce GTX 970/980 graphics cards at the moment). Connected with DVI or HDMI 1.4, the monitor will either refuse 4K resolution or only display at a flickering 30 Hz.
Yes, it is suitable.
Hello Tiger809 I have entered the parameters in the search: https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/producttype/video-kabel-295?filter=t_9524%3D16418%7C7964%2Ct_9525%3D7968%2Ct_22121%3D658602 Have a look at the following product: Delock HDMI (Type A) - DisplayPort (2 m, HDMI) This has port A HDMI (PS5) and port B DisplayPort 1.2 (ASUS screen). Good luck.
1. set on PS5 (don't have one but internet search for 'activate freesync ps5' should help). 2. hdmi 2 or hdmi 2.1 should both work (hdmi 1.4 not with 4k). 3.max frequency from monitor is 60hz - it's not a gaming monitor. If the 60 fps is not reached, then choose lower resolution on the PS5. Otherwise there is probably not much to do
You have to check who is the offering party. Since digitec has introduced some time ago marketplace funktionality. There can be a different company offering you the product.
The resolution is definitely good, but it's a monitor with a TN panel, which is not very stable in terms of viewing angles. The Macbook Pro 2014 has an HDMI output on the side, so I would use that. However, I would recommend this LG monitor because it has a much better IPS panel and a very good stand that can also be adjusted. The Samsung's stand is quite a wobbly affair. LG 27UL650-W (27 ", 3840 x 2160 Pixels)
No, that shouldn't be a problem, but the screens have an automatic switch-off function that usually switches the screen off a few minutes after there is no signal. They have Energy Star 6 and when they are off, they consume 0.3 watts/hour. I would rather look at something in the home that consumes more than 0.3 watts.
The Samsung screen is indeed tiltable, but not by much. I would advise against buying it, the Samsung unit is from 2015, so it's old (although new in the box). I recommend this LG monitor instead of the Samsung: LG 27UL500-W.AEU (insist on CH power cable, there are some who probably got a EUR cable): LG 27UL500-W.AEU (27", 3840 x 2160 Pixels) The Samsung model can't play HDCP 2.2, so there's no 4K playback of copyright-protected content when connected externally. Also, only one HDMI port is 60Hz capable, the second is only 30Hz. The panel is a TN panel, which is dependent on the screen angle. The LG has HDCP 2.2, so it can also play back 4K films from an external 4K box. It also has an IPS panel, which is much better than TN in terms of quality. For the extra 50 francs, there is also a much more frequently used VESA mount in 100 x 100 mm (Samsung uses an exotic format 75mm x 75mm).
Yes, that works, but for 250 francs I would recommend the LG, which is more than worth the 50 francs extra: LG 27UL500-W It has HDCP 2.2 (so you can also play Netfix via HDMI), and more importantly, it has an IPS panel that is much more viewing angle stable than the Samsung model. When ordering, specify that you want a CH power connection if you don't already have one at home. LG 27UL500-W.AEU (27", 3840 x 2160 Pixels) The Samsung U28E590D monitor looks like a bargain, but it came on the market in 2015, even though it is new in the box. They have to get rid of the devices now (they were so cheap a month ago). The Samsung model is definitely no longer new. The Samsung set also only has a TP panel, and can only do 30 Hz on the first HDMI input and, as mentioned, does not support HDCP 2.2 for copy-protected content. With the Samsung, only the second HDMI input is capable of 60 Hz. In addition, the Samsung monitor has an exotic 75 x 75 mm VESA mount, while the LG model adheres more to the usual VESA mount standard with 100 x 100 mm.
I highly doubt that the GT 730 is capable of displaying 4pc resolution ^^.
My power supply unit works fine and I can't sell you one either.
Since the screen only has 60Hz, it's not really suitable for gaming (for 4K, you need very powerful components to get above 30 FPS). I would rather recommend a 1440p with 120 or 144 Hz.
Hello, my display is connected with a HDMI Type A like in your picture, so I think is no probelm. Display for Mac or for PC (I' have a PC with Linux) must be the same.
Since the monitor is still being sold, I would check with Galaxus. The model of the power supply for mine: SAMSUNG A4514_DSM (Output: 14VDC 3.215A 45W).
Digitec can best answer this question for you
You can tilt it up and down a bit but as @Orhan mentioned its height is fixed.
Nope
Hallo Marc. If I understand you right, you are using a laptop - and this laptop only have one connection for a screen? No matter if you have a normal PC or Laptop, you need enough connections to the amount of screens you want to connect, AND the graphics chip/card needs to support the amount of screens, the resolutions and screen update HZ you plan to use. I have a relative old PC with a nvidia based card (760 gtx) that can drive 2 samsung 4K screens, one with HDMI and one with Display-port. On none of the laptops I have, it is possible to connect 2 4K samsung screens. One of the laptops I have is a Elitebook G6 (generation 6). I have a docking station for it, but the Intel chip cannot handle 2 time 4K, but lower resolution is possible - even to 3 screens (like full hd) There are many different docking stations and connections, just check, you need the RIGHT amount of ports, AND a graphics chip that can handle the output!
That is indeed the case. The cheaper one you saw is not from Digitec but from Jacob DE. You can get it for CHF 289 at Digitec itself.
Good day.... I'm afraid I can't answer your question, but I would like to make the following comment: The model is relatively old and I found the switching of sources, if this is also an issue for you, to be very tedious from the point of view of operability. There have been no firmware updates for a long time. In the meantime, I have discarded the monitor after a few years of use. The picture itself was actually quite good (FYI).
