I bought the xm4 and have massive problems with skyping and teams via bluetooth on Win 10, you only hear the voice "choppy" which is not the case with the xm3. Even if I set the xm4 to use only 1 Bluetooth connection at a time. How can I solve the problem? Home office is not possible.

The dynamic pricing policy simply sucks... Why should I first get it for 399 and then about 1 hour for 350.- and then again for 399.-? People feel like they've been taken for a ride when you've taken an extra 50.- out of their pockets...

Just need a very good NC to block out the nasty people on public transport. Does anyone have the XM3 and can tell me if it's worth switching to the XM4 just for the NC? The other features are nice but unnecessary for me.

Can I connect the headphones to a Sony TV?

Since the WH-1000XM4 no longer has aptX and aptX HD, it is now even better to buy the WH-1000XM3 if you have players that have aptX or aptX HD and no LDAC. I have a NAD M10 receiver/streamer that can send aptX HD. With the "old" WH-1000XM3, the sound is high-resolution and crystal-clear. So it makes no sense to buy the new Sony and give up aptX HD.

Can someone measure the inner dimensions of the pads? I have read about the older WH-1000XM3 that with 70mm x 40mm they are not suitable for large ears...

How much has the NC improved compared to the M1? Especially with regard to wind noise or when you brush against the microphone?

DO NOT BUY this headset model. Warranty coverages are done, but repairs from Sony's repairs or parts not coverd by warranty (example of broken hinge swivel) are no longer available from the official repair provider of Sony, Sertronic, or Sony.

I currently have the Air Pod Max headphones. I am generally very satisfied with the sound and integration into the APPLE Eco System. But the wearing comfort leaves a lot to be desired ... I think because my head is a bit bigger and the headphones fit tightly. Is the Sony a good alternative in terms of size and does it come close to integration into the APPLE Ecosystem?

I have read that the headphones switch off after about 10 minutes if no music is played. Is it possible to deactivate this function? I often use the predecessor only to muffle the ambient noise without listening to music. With the XM3, the ANC remains active.

Are the headphones also comfortable for people with a small, narrow head? In my experience, many headphones don't fit me properly because the headband can't be made any smaller. The headphones then sit incorrectly on the head and press against the temples.

Hello! The headset no longer shuts off when I remove it, nor does it switch off after a certain length of time without use. I've deactivated these options once and even after reactivating them in the app, they don't reset. I also tried uninstalling the application but it didn't work. Have you had a similar experience? After hours of searching, trying, etc., I soon get started: The microphone (input device) of the WH-1000XM4 is not recognised under Windows 11 on a Surface Laptop, only as a headphone (i.e. output device). I have tried everything possible, read x tips (e.g. I don't have a button to set it as the "Default Communication Device"). Even updating the Intel Bluetooth Driver to the latest version 20.93.0 (including logging off all Bluetooth devices and rebooting) didn't help. I think it's a Windows problem, but which one?
