Product details
Chamaedorea Elegans, also known as the Mexican dwarf palm, is native to the rainforests of southern Mexico and Guatemala. It is a beautiful, graceful plant that is also very hardy, making it perfect for the novice plant keeper. This palm will give your room a real jungle atmosphere in no time, but you don't have to worry about it outgrowing its space. This dwarf palm gets its nickname from its compact growth and will not grow into a large, overbearing plant. The Mexican Dwarf Palm is an ideal addition to your Uban Jungle.
Care
When caring for the Chamaedorea, it is important that the soil does not dry out, but that the roots do not stand in water. So only give the plant small amounts of water. In summer it is sufficient to water it every four days, in winter only every fortnight. The Chamaedorea prefers plenty of light, but preferably not direct sun. It is best to place the dwarf palm near a window facing north. If the leaves become lighter or yellow, the plant is receiving too much light.
