Product details
With its beautiful large leaves and finely braided stems, the Pachira is a stunning and unique plant. It grows with a relatively thin and flexible stem that can be braided. In East Asia, the Pachira is considered an element that brings prosperity and happiness to the home according to Feng Shui teachings. The five leaves on each branch symbolize the five fundamental elements of Feng Shui: metal, wood, water, fire, and earth. Additionally, the Pachira is a plant with many nicknames. The most common name is "money tree." This name comes from the belief in the Far East that the leaves can catch money. This makes the plant an ideal gift for a birthday, housewarming, or wedding. The Pachira is a true tropical plant. It is native to the swamps of East Brazil, Panama, and Costa Rica, where it can grow up to 20 meters tall.
Care: For people who sometimes forget their plants, the Pachira is ideal as it has low maintenance requirements. The braided stem gives the Pachira a very special look. The Pachira prefers a bright location, but not too close to the window. Since it stores water in its trunk, the soil should be dry before it is watered again. In winter, the plant enjoys being watered to prevent leaf loss and encourage the formation of new leaves. Old leaves can be trimmed away without concern. In summer, the plant needs to be watered about twice a week.
Size: The plant has a height of 60-70 cm upon delivery, measured including the growing pot. It is delivered in a growing pot with a diameter of 17 cm, including 10 liters of Pokon potting soil.
