The world's leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances begins on 6 September 2019. Our editors Jan and Luca as well as video producer Manu are in Berlin and will be reporting live from the press days before the event on 4 and 5 September.

We’re ready.

We, this is our Hamburg-based editor Jan, Zurich-based editor Luca and video producer Manu. While the doors open exclusively to the press from 4 to 5 September and once the event begins on 6 September, we’ll be reporting live from the IFA in Berlin, the leading trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances. Our colleagues from the digitec and Galaxus editorial offices in Switzerland are supporting us.

3 September 2019

Arrived. Ready to rumble. Battle plan is nigh – and we’re ready for the unexpected. Trade shows never go as planned. Especially not the IFA Berlin. IFA is a huge, loud and chaotic event. And an exciting one. Maybe a bit overwhelming, too.

During the next three days, we want to let you see devices that are revealed to the public for the very first time, joined with the latest tech trends and first-hand news. Our editorial colleagues in Switzerland will support us by looking out for news and trends from afar. We’ll keep you updated on this page. It's worth dropping by every once in a while!

Arrived in Berlin.
Arrived in Berlin.

By the way: if you have any questions or would like us to find out, see or report on something at IFA, let us know in the comment section below this newsfeed. I can't promise that we’ll respond to all your requests, but we’ll do our best.

Let's go!

I’ve always wanted to say: «I am Groot.»
