The freezer PC: how the refrigeration circuit is built

Refrigeration expert Bernhard Vetsch from ThermodynamX is building a refrigeration system into a PC. With freezer cooling, he wants to constantly cool the Threadripper 3970X processor beast to 20 degrees Celsius. Today, I’m accompanying him as he sets up the refrigeration cycle.

All the puzzle pieces for the freezer PC are here. Now it’s time to set up the refrigeration circuit. For this purpose, refrigeration expert Bernhard Vetsch went to Altendorf SZ. ThermodynamX’s partner, Kälte Fischer, is stationed there. They’ll help with assembly. Of course, I’m also there, camera in hand. See how it all works in the video above.
