The freezer PC: sniffing out leaks

Bernhard Vetsch of ThermodynamX is building a refrigeration system into a PC. With freezer cooling, he wants to constantly cool the Threadripper 3970X processor beast to 20 degrees Celsius. Today, I’m keeping him company as he sets up the refrigeration circuitry.

The refrigeration circuitry takes two days to assemble. On the second day, it’s finalised and checked for leaks. When it’s all over, Bernard Vetsch tells me how the system works within the PC. You’ll see all of this in the video. For English subtitles, click the gear icon, «Subtitles CC» and «Auto translate».
